«Behind Closed Doors» tells the true story of Greta, a survivor of abuse and human trafficking in Switzerland.
In an animated short film, she offers personal insights into a chapter of current Swiss history that couldn’t be more topical. Human trafficking has significantly increased in the last ten years, worldwide and in Switzerland. According to estimates, around 50 million people are affected, and yet, the issue often remains invisible in everyday life or is not even recognised.
Numbers and statistics on their own make it difficult to see the real picture. Greta, however, tells a story about what led to the current situation and what human trafficking can actually look like right here in Switzerland.
