The project «SWAP» presents a new modular setup for a drone. Through a simple and easy connection, the individual parts are safely joined together mechanically and electronically. This construction makes it possible to configure the drone in different ways, thus expanding the versatility of the product and covering a wide range of uses. In case of a defect or an upgrade, the components can be exchanged quickly. It is a flexible and more sustainable system which extends the life cycle of the drone.
Interview.
The concept is in tune with the zeitgeist (see Fairphone) and much more sustainable than traditional drones. In terms of technology and form, it is uncompromising and individual, establishing a new drone typology far from the military style.
